Our first destination was Cape Kiwanda, Pacific City, Oregon. How wonderful it was to spend a week at the beach!  Even though most of our time was spent unpacking, we still had some time to take long walks in the evening with Annie, visit with some of our neighbors, and watch fantastic fireworks all week long.  The RV park was filled with the cutest bunnies, just running free.  Our cats, Angus and Argyle, as well as Pele the parrot, were fascinated with them – out the window, of course.  Annie wanted to chase them, or maybe herd them, but they were so used to dogs and people, that they mainly just looked at us, very unconcerned.
